Description
Location:
Our Cape Style cottage is idealy situated on a quiet, nicely treed and
grassy 1/2 Acre Lot, midway between Edgartown and South Beach (about 1 1/2
Mi each way). In addition, there is a sepatrate small shed for storing
bicycles etc. There is a contained grassy "Play area" out back - suitable
for badmitton or ball-playing with the Kids. The Bike Path is nearby as well
as Tennis, and Golf not too far. Most popular (Big Surf, Most Sand) South Beach is just down the Road.
Other beaches are within short range as well.
The Cottage:
The downstairs features a Cathedral Ceilinged Living/Dining area, a Master
Bedroom (Queen), 2nd Bedroom (Double & 1 Single), a full bathroom, and a Laundry
Closet (Washer & Dryer). The fully equipped kitchen has a Pass-Thru window
out to a Screen-in Porch (where most meals are taken).
The upstairs has a very large Bedroom (Queen + 2 Singles). The Loft houses the
TV/VCR area with a Couch which also converts to a Double Bed. There is also
a 1/2 bath.

- Large Gas Grill
- Hammock & Swing (while waiting for Grill to Grill)
- Crabbing Nets and Fishing Rods can be found in the Shed for
adventures of different sorts

- Comfortable Screened Porch for meals overlooks peaceful back yard
- Washer/Dryer & Outdoor Clothes Line
- Wireless broadband internet access
- Ceiling Fans (For Comfort)
- Iron/Board

- TV/VCR (Cable)
- Local (Island) Phones (Use Credit Card for Long Distance)
- Crib, Pack/Play, High Chair et. al.
- Some General Medical Supplies etc.

- Consider June and Sept (some say they are the best times on the Island, particularly given the prices).

Renter Info
- We provide: Pillows, Bed Pads, Blankets, & Puffs
- You must bring pillow cases and sheets and bath towels.
- Bring your own Beach itmes.
- Cleaning - We all expect it to be left as we found it.
- 50% of the agreed upon rental fee reserves your time.
- The balance and a security deposit is required about 1 month before your stay.
- The security deposit will be returned after receipt of key.
- Generally, we run from Monday to Monday.
- When we have back to back rentals we expect you to arrive after 3pm and depart by 10am.
- No smoking and no pets. Here is a good place to keep your pet on the Island.
- We are primarily interested in renting to families.
- Some Ferry Reservations are available.
